The Portugasm Enlightenment and Rejuvenation Institute (PERI) is located in Barcelos, Portugal - recognised as the founding location and centre of the Portugasm phenomenon. The Institute was founded by the esteemed doctor, scholar, counsellor, trained masseur and checkers champion, Grand Master Fernando.

It is here that those wishing to be enlightened are guided through dynamic workshops on the techniques involved to enable the reaching of the heights of Portugasm. At the same time, study continues some days - and every balmy night - into the causes and positive affects of Portugasm on the human condition.
